Statement of Nondiscrimination
Pinehurst School District does not discriminate and prohibits discrimination on the basis of age, disability, national origin, race, color, marital status, religion, sex, sexual orientation and gender identity in providing education or access to benefits of education services, activities and programs following Title II, Title VI, Title VII, Title IX and other civil rights or discrimination issues; Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1963, as amended; the Americans with Disabilities Act; and the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act of 2008.
The following have been designated to respond to questions and complaints from students, parents, staff and members of the public about nondiscrimination and equal educational opportunities, and may be contacted for additional information and/or compliance issues:

What is Title IX?
No person in the United States shall, based on sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.
